How-to: Time Entry Description Parsing

Text entered into the Description field is parsed in the following ways:

1. Task number - when a task number is found, the project and task will be set automatically

2. Project prefix - when a project prefix is found, the project will be set automatically

3. Service and alias - when a service or one of its configured aliases is found, the service will be set automatically

Default services can also be configured, so if one project is predominantly Development while another is Design, try setting the Default Service accordingly to make time entries easier to create.
